Qcision empowers INECFI with precision, efficiency, and high speed

When Spanish manufacturing company INECFI decided to expand their fineblanking capacities, they turned to Qcision, formerly known as Feintool Technologie AG. “The cutting-edge technology and high-quality support make Qcision a trusted partner for many years”, explains Romualdo Miro, owner and CEO of INECFI. This acquisition marks the first servomechanical Qcision XFT Press installed in Southern Europe.

The XFT 2500 Speed fineblanking press offers decisive advantages: From enhanced productivity to a high level of flexibility and performance. The excellent press stiffness enables a long tool life even at high production speeds. In addition, the press is designed to be energy-efficient and consequently reduces production costs.

INECFI’s decision to invest in the Qcision XFT 2500 Speed Press was driven by two main factors, Romualdo Miro, owner and CEO of INECFI says: “The fineblanking press will outperform our existing mechanical presses with its excellent performance. Its precision and speed will increase our production and meet the demands of state-of-the-art manufacturing. Also, the energy saving features of the XFT 2500 Speed convinced us.”

In close co-operation with the customer, Qcision experts handled the demanding on-site support of replacing the presses and transferring existing tools while production was running. Romualdo Miro confirms: “The fineblanking press was seamlessly integrated into our operations in Lliçà de Vall, our plant near Barcelona. It was important to me that my employees responsible for operating the press were intensively trained by Qcision. Only when all factors are aligned, we can achieve best results.”

Offering a full-service package, Qcision impressed INECFI with its end-to-end commitment… For Romualdo and his team, it is important to count on a partner, who reliably supports them at every stage. While INECFI asked for offers from other providers, the mutual relationship was key to the success of this project. Qcision’s offer was the most convincing.
